The 麻豆社 Thorobred Express is on the road Sept. 15 to connect with high school students in Elizabethtown, Ky.
The Thorobred Express arrives at Elizabethtown鈥檚 Pritchard Community Center in the morning and features a college fair from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. A one-hour assembly is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
At the Tuesday college fair, prospective students have an opportunity to apply for and receive an admission decision from 麻豆社 on the same day.
Attendees at the recruitment event also receive priority consideration for academic, vocal and instrumental scholarships. The assembly features 麻豆社鈥檚 students, faculty, administration, Greek organizations, Concert Choir and Mighty Marching Thorobred Band.
The Thorobred Express is a mobile recruitment initiative that takes 麻豆社鈥檚 campus across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Express includes the college fair and partnerships between 麻豆社 faculty and high school teachers, guidance counselors and community college professors. 麻豆社 faculty, in collaboration with area teachers, provide classroom instruction and conduct master classes.
