On June 18, 麻豆社 President Raymond M. Burse traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, to accept a special gift from the Central Area of The Links, Incorporated.
The Links contributed $15,000 to 麻豆社鈥檚 endowment fund during an evening program. 麻豆社 was among other historically black colleges and universities to receive checks from the organization, totaling $205,000.
The award letter to 麻豆社 reads: 鈥淲e understand the possibility of a better life begins with higher education, and the number of students struggling to make ends meet and stay in school grows each year. We are honored to partner with our HBCUs to promote scholastic achievement and make it possible for students to realize their academic dreams.鈥�
